Seacrest Beach is a colorful, people-oriented, beach community on the north side of Scenic Highway 30A, located between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Seacrest Beach is approximately 32 miles east of Destin and 17 miles west of Panama City Beach in the panhandle of Florida.
The Seacrest Beach community was designed to create a compact, people-oriented environment. The developer's vision was to revive the lost art of wholesome living by incorporating landscaped streets, sidewalks, walking paths, front porches, alleyways, and rear garages. Paths and roads for pedestrians connect in all directions, unifying the community.
The style of Seacrest Beach homes represent the new and improved Florida cottage but with a small influence of Dutch Caribbean, New Orleans, American Victorian, and Mediterranean architecture references. While all the homes have a similar feel, diversity is encouraged through porch railing designs, roof lines, and paint colors.
Seacrest Beach centers on an enormous lagoon style pool spanning 12,000 square feet. Seacrest Beach also enjoys deeded beach access with tram service during the summer season.
The nearby Village of South Walton is home to shops and restaurants that include Bohlert Massey Home Interiors, Kent LTD, La Cocina, and Bentley's & Maddog's. Its fountains are a favorite of kids on warm summer days.
Seacrest Beach consists of single family homes, home sites, as well as condominiums. On the south side of Scenic Highway 30A, Villas at Sunset Beach is a Gulf front gated condominium project that also enjoys the amenities of Seacrest Beach.
